Top-Rated Worcester, Massachusetts Divorce Lawyers and Divorce Attorneys
The Massachusetts Family Law Group was established to enable men and women of medium-to-high net worth develop strategies for getting what they want and deserve in their divorces.
In Worcester, our family law team represents women in difficult circumstances and emotional turmoil as they reluctantly face divorce and the often-associated matters of deciding on divorce, preparing for divorce, the first steps of divorce, the overall divorce process, dealing with those issues relating to children and divorce, financial issues (including child support and alimony) and property division.
Given the newest 2009 Child Support Guidelines in Massachusetts, our attorneys are zealous advocates when it comes to proposing the proper child support order before court. For example, family income is considered up to and including $250,000 per year. Additionally, support may be apportioned between child support and alimony provided the after-tax support is not less than the Guidelines sum. Finally, there's now a recognition that major expenses such as camp and extracurricular activities are not automatically the responsibility of one parent; the Guidelines recognize that such expenses may be apportioned between parents or attributed to one parent.
The lawyers on our divorce team zealously represent men in issues relating to paternity and father’s rights.
We also help clients with dealing with their controlling spouse, hidden asset issues, how to be a better parent during divorce and dealing with the most common divorce mistakes.

A word about legal fees: Some attorneys may promise to do the same job for less money, and other attorneys may make unrealistic promises that your lifestyle will not change after your divorce. We work with you through every step of the divorce process, letting you know your options so you can make the right choices each step of the way.
